About the Journal

Global South Health Horizons (GSHH) is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Centre for Epidemiology and Clinical Research (CECR) and dedicated to advancing health research with a focus on evidence from and for the Global South. The journal will also advance foundational scientific knowledge that underpins health, medicine, and public health, especially in contexts relevant to the Global South. Therefore, our platform welcomes rigorous investigations that traverse anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, molecular biology, pharmacology, and related disciplines, while fostering transdisciplinary dialogue between basic science and global health challenges. Published under the highest ethical and academic standards, GSHH serves as a platform for researchers, clinicians, and policymakers to share innovative, impactful, and contextually relevant health solutions.
